Science is a powerful and mysterious animal.   Every day we are shocked and amazed by the miracles it brings about and the changes that it portends.   Usually we reel in amazement and then proceed to immerse ourselves in the geekdom of these technological wonders.   From time to time we churn out a new piece so that we don’t get left hopelessly in the dust of the major trends in scientific advances.

Minions

This is where you come in.   Comment, bring us news of websites we should be watching, videos we have to see and scientific articles we should be researching and probably would if we weren’t so comfortable in our high tech reclining chairs.  Without minions it is tough to rule a galactic empire from our increasingly spectacular throne atop the worlds scientific media. 

It’s a savage job striving to be world emperor, but someone has to do it!  The first thing to know when aspiring to rule the world is that you are going to need the right technology to do it with, and live long enough for it to happen.   The second thing to know is how to delegate.   That’s why we are calling on you, our loyal minions, to keep us up to speed, in turn we will share that knowledge when it makes good sense to do so.

The science news desk has been overwhelmed by calls to action.  

We know that there are massive breakthroughs in science happening somewhere, and the toys are going to be way cooler than this years palm pre.   Or was that last year?    Ha, we barely have digital watches, but somehow we manage to churn out a piece before the next deadline, at least often enough to satisfy our editors.    Luckily for us, they are interested in VR and spend most of their time preparing by playing video games and drooling about haptic workstations. 

Science news is made by those who are working endless hours in the lab so you don’t have to.   They work tirelessly for new knowledge and the wealth that it brings, us, well we are slackers but we do manage to fire out a halfway decent science article from time to time.

Stay tuned to the cutting edge and watch out for killer robots running amok in a soup of sentient nano-bots.    That about wraps it up for this one, maybe we will get a bit more science in our next news piece.  Its all they really want from us, we’ll see if we can hit the clutch this time around.
